As we mentioned a couple of days ago, this week the SIMEI fair is taking place in Milan. LEV2050 is presenting its products and services together with ALEA Evolution in Hall 1 – Stand H10-L09.

On our stand we are presenting a patented BR-LEV-LC automated bioreactor (for yeast and lactic acid bacteria multiplication, and bâtonnage). We are also presenting a patented BR-CV bioreactor (same functions as the BR-LEV-LC bioreactor, and also serves for controlled yeast adaptation to secondary fermentation for sparkling wine tirage).

In addition, we are also introducing our newest product: PILLOW NON-ETHYL. This is a unique, bio-sustainable solution used as a deodorising filter that removes the dreaded ethylphenols. It also removes other unwanted aromas such as pyrazines, geranium leaves, etc. It can be used both preventively and curatively, recovering the original expressiveness of the wine, leaving 0 residue.

The product is presented in tea bags, as an infusion, to retain the adsorbent compounds that trap odorous substances inside. These bags are food grade, resistant to ethanol and wine pH and are made of a low density material which gives them high buoyancy.

These bags are placed inside one or two nets, depending on the weight required, which will be able to receive the number of bags needed for the treatments, in pre-fermentative process or in post-fermentative process (finished wine).

This product comes in boxes, each containing 6 bags and 2 nets. Each of these bags can treat 5,000L.

Here is a video of David García Yoldi, CEO of LEV2050, explaining our new product and how it works:

If you come to the stand you will be able to see a demonstration of the use of this product.
