Brewer’s yeast: Gentle Yeast

We present you our yeasts: “Gentle Yeast”. These yeasts are selected for the fermentation of different types of beer such as Ale, IPA, Pale or Lager among others.

Each type of beer needs a different type of yeast fir its fermentation. Let´s see which ones they are.

Gentle Yeast Haze -001-

This is Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast, selected for the fermentation of all types of Ales, especially for New England and Hazy IPAS styles. The fruity and clean character of the strain is obtained fermenting at a high temperature range.

Bote Gentle Yeast Bright- Levadura fermentativa LEV2050

Gentle Yeast Bright -002-

This variety is the Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast suited for fermentation of all types of Ales as Pale Ale, IPA, Double IPA. Neutral and clean profile strain that highlights the hoppy character of the beer.

Bote Gentle Yeast Dark- Levadura fermentativa LEV2050

Gentle Yeast Dark -003-

Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast suited for fermentation of Stout, Porter, Brown Ales and Amber Ales. Strain that perfectly fits the use of toasted and caramelized malts.

Gentle Yeast Bottom -004-

Not to be forgotten are the lagers, for which Saccharomyces Pastorianus yeast is selected. It produces clean, fresh beers while emphasizing their hoppy character.

Lastly, we have the Kluyveromyces Thermotolerans yeast, selected to quickly lower pH levels as well as convey a strong fruity character. This strain requires processing at high temperatures and when the pH level has dropped, a second strain of yeast should be used to complete fermentation
