ABC Newspaper Article
Last Sunday, July 2, the renowned newspaper ABC published an article about precision fermentation in the food sector.
In the piece “The Transformative Menu of Precision Fermentation”, written by journalist Alberto Velázquez, several companies from Navarra showcase their innovation practices.

In LEV2050’s case, the article highlights our expertise in the selection and characterization of microorganisms across multiple sectors—both food and agriculture. It also includes a brief overview of other advanced biotech processes we are involved in, such as enzymatic hydrolysis, protein overexpression, and metabolite excretion, among others.
This allows us to expand our scope, actively contributing to technological innovation and helping set new standards for sustainable and efficient production.
LEV2050 already operates a strain bank of 16,000 yeast strains and more than 6,000 bacteria, with an industrial annual biomass production covering over 250 strains. With a rigorous approach and a strong biotechnological and genetic foundation, an increasing number of companies are placing their trust in our work.
